Background
Pacific Marine Research (PMR) is a Seattle based, charitable, 501(c)(3), non-profit educational organization dedicated to furthering people’s understanding of and connection to Puget Sound and its watershed. We strive to inspire observation of, involvement in, and care for Puget Sound. PMR is supported solely by private foundation grants and user fees. Donations and scholarships are encouraged, and are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
Mission
To instill respect and appreciation for Puget Sound by communicating principals of environmental awareness and stewardship. We strive to inspire observation of, involvement in, and care for Puget Sound.
Passion
Pacific Marine Research’s passion is to inspire individuals and communities to learn about Puget Sound, care about it’s environment, and act as stewards in protecting marine life.
